Hi!!

I'm a student in a MSTP being funded for an MD/PhD in Epidemiology. It took me a long time to compile a list of schools offering this unusual joint program, so I decided to share my list with you.

[MSTP stands for Medical Scientist Training Program, which receives full funding and stipend from the NIH for the course of study. Some schools offer fully funded MD/PhDs, but you need to look into the details - they might only offer to pay for one or two years of MD study, or might only offer the stipend for the PhD portion. Other schools will make you sign a commitment to pay back the MD years if you do not complete the entire MD/PhD program.]

The list is current as of November, 2010. The PDF includes deadlines, average MCAT and GPA scores, URLs to the appropriate websites, etc. I could not upload a PDF document to this blog site, so click here for the appropriate link.

Feel free to comment with questions.

GOOD LUCK!!
